I feel safe when I’m working out. I came to Ronin as a relapsed gym-goer with shoulder injuries, dodgy knees and replacement hip joints. When you have an injury one of the things you worry about is doing something incorrectly – or doing the wrong exercise – and making the injury even worse. The Ronin trainers really know their stuff, and during every workout session they tailored all the exercises to what I needed, and I felt confident that I wouldn’t injure myself further. They also gave me extra exercises to strengthen muscles that helped nurse the various injured bits back to health.
The work outs fresh and different. Great at explaining why we’re doing each workout. And that allows you can take it away with you and do it in your own time. They consider all aspects of training from work out, rest and recovery. Everyone feels welcome.
Having never been part of a team before the atmosphere was new to me and I realised then that CrossFit was like nothing else out there! I love it!
I had one initial evaluation where Eamonn got up to speed on what I was capable of, then into a short beginners course. I had issues with my back from sitting down for a year straight, and Eamonn gave extra curricular work to help start setting that right.
Several months later and I’m the fittest I’ve ever been, loving getting up in the morning to join the crew for a blast!
